"Diabolo"
Diabolo, also known as "Devil's top," was a popular game in Edwardian times. It involves an hour-glass-shaped top that is spun on a string. The idea for the game supposedly comes from China, and it was popularized in 1906 by a Frenchman named Gustave Phillipart.
