Two pigeons have decided to start a family on our balcony at our flat in Central London. Unlike most urban dwellers, we decided not to kick them out but to set up a webcam, so the whole world can see them raise their family. We've named the mother Hattie and the father Sidney.

Update: Neither of the two babies made it--one died at hatching, and the second disappeared a little after a week. We're leaving up the camera, as the two pigeons are still coming on the balcony and look like they are rebuilding the nest for a second go. Let's all wish them the best of luck next time, as they really need it.
